User agreement
What this is
Roamory is a walking game. It needs your location, so it owes you a straight answer about what happens to it. The full answer is in the privacy policy, and you are shown the same thing when you sign up.
Walking safely
The game never asks you to go anywhere in particular. Do not play while driving or riding. Watch the traffic and your surroundings, and do not enter dangerous, private or restricted places to unlock a cell. No square on a map is worth it.
What you contribute
Places and photographs you submit are shown to other people once a person has reviewed them, and never with your name on them. Photograph the place, not the people — anyone who happens to be in the shot never agreed to be on a map. Unsuitable content is turned down and deleted.
Reporting and blocking
Roamory has zero tolerance for objectionable content and for people who abuse others. That includes sexual, violent, hateful or harassing material, and photographs of people who did not agree to be in them. Anyone can report a place photograph, a co-walk photograph or a member of a co-walk from inside the app; a person reviews every report and we act on it as soon as we can, content that breaks these rules is removed, and the account that posted it may be suspended. You can also block someone you walked with from the co-walk member list: after that, neither of you sees the other’s photographs or name in co-walks, and neither of you can join a co-walk the other is in. A block can be undone in Settings.
Accounts
One account per person. Faking your location, using a simulator, or otherwise manufacturing exploration may get an account suspended.
Age
You must be at least 13 to create a Roamory account. If you are under 18, use Roamory with the permission of a parent or guardian.
